2012.

Last breakfast of 2011.

Apples, strawberry yogurt, chia seeds, Fiber One, Raisin Bran and strawberries…

Went to BodyPump today followed by this lunch!

Spinach salad with maters, bread, celery, nuts, olive oil, seeds…

Justin and I went over to Allie and Trav's to help them get ready for tonight. I honed my homemade pizza roll making skills.

I love New Year's. It's a no pressure holiday where your main job is to enjoy yourself and count down from ten, easy enough right? Maybe not after one too many glasses of champagne :)

Here are some quotes and words about the new year from "The Daily Love" that I would like to share...

"Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true."
- Alfred, Lord Tennyson, one of the most popular poets in the English language.

"We will open the book.  Its pages are blank.  We are going to put words on them
ourselves.  The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's
Day."
- Edith Lovejoy Pierce, a twentieth-century poet and pacifist.

"What did you learn this year? What mistakes did you make? What stories did you create
about what's possible for you? What stories did you create about what's impossible
for you? This time last year, were there changes that you wanted to make, but didn't?
Why not? Did you love yourself just a little bit more this year than you did last
year? What's one habit that you DON'T want to bring into 2012? Can today be the
LAST DAY of that habit? When would now be a good time to let it go?

We are all moving ahead into 2012 - it's close enough. But for this moment, let
us think back about the year, let us reflect, take a moment to pause and really
give 2011 a conscious goodbye - and with it - the habits, stories and beliefs that
should stay with it. The first step to creating something new is letting go of what
no longer serves you. What no longer serves you?"

Very interesting to think about huh?

Justin and I had a blast last night at the white elephant party… Here are some pics and videos that can explain it better than I can.
