Yesterday started with a mug of cereal and apples!
I caught up on my blog because Allie and Jodi both yelled at me for not having timely deliverance on my blog.
"Ill have you know, my coffee has not been as enjoyable the last 2 days. I think we both know why. Miss you lots lots plans when were both back!" -Allie
"Needing my blog fix!!" -Jodi
"Aren't you a little behind on your blog???" -Mom
Sorry girls. I won't let it happen again :)
My mom and I were ladies who lunch yesterday…she took me to Ruby Tuesday for a gourmet Uhhmerican meal and I got a delish turkey burger (with a pretzel bun!) and a side of spaghetti squash.
Props to Ruby Tewsdee for having spaghetti squash and other new veggies as sides!
We then went to My-jer to pick up some Christmas treats (we're hosting my mom's family for Christmas this year). It was packed to the brim with people! I even heard the greeter sigh like, "When is this gonna be overrr?!"
Guess who else was waiting for me there???
After that, my dad paid me my dinner fare to wrap his Christmas presents for him (so I obviously complied). He pimps me out often.
Then, I turned Taylor on to help me get ready in a hurry.
And headed to Blowphi's (sophie's) house for Freand Feast Fest (that's what we've referred to it as).
Pure exorbitance. That's the only way to describe last night. And these pics help…
Got to indulge in the five of us girls being in the same place at the same time for the first time in 2 years plus an enormous beef tenderloin. What more could I ask for?
Favorite things about last night:
1.) Seeing pictures/scrapbooks of us girls from 10 years back…I have no idea how our parents let us look like that. But we were funny! Let me tell you, there was a whole page of inside jokes we wrote down, and we would still laugh at those today. What does that say about our maturity level??? Jury's still out on that one…
2.) The enormous beef tenderloin that looked like it used to belong to a farm animal. A poor donkey is walking around somewhere without his nether regions.
3.) Singing songs we learned from our elementary school music teacher. Any of these ring a bell??? "Put another nickel in, in the nickelodeon…."
or how bout "Way down yonder on the yankety yank, the bullfrog jumped from bank to bank…"
…or maybe "Latin America, congo tango mambo, Ecuador Chile Costa Rica, Uruguay Paraguay…"
….. perhaps "Hello hello, buenos dias buenos dias…. buna alooo buna allooo….having good friends can beeeee like living in one great big family a family of children, who start out by saying helloooooo! Doo doo doo doo do do do do do!
That's quality music boys n' girls.
4.) Having boyfriends there! Even though they may or may not break up after seeing our past come to life last night. And even though Justin wasn't there. Stupid bachelor party.
5.) Our photo shoot…can't wait to see how "awesome" we look in some of those.
6.) Receiving a Martha Stewart "Good Things" book, while Sophi received an antique-y pin up pornographic book. Let's just say we value diversity in our friends :)Thank you Nicolee for my book, I adore it!!!!
And I ended it just right too… so I walked out to my car at Sophi's house. She lives in the country. Walking outside at night looks like this.
Merry Christmas Eve Eve!
Whatever cinnamon does for your health, I will reap the benefits to the max.

But, it was worth it because I got to see a black santa with his shirt off.
No further comments, your honor.

:) It will most definitely be used well Nicolee (and Martha)
celebrating and christmas and cooking and decorating and entertaining?!?!?! ahhh!!!!
And I ended it just right too… so I walked out to my car at Sophi's house. She lives in the country. Walking outside at night looks like this.
So, I'm driving home… and I started smelling really weird things… I'm lookin' in the backseat, on the passenger side floor, everywhere for what smells. At this point I'm about gagging at the smell.
Then, I look between my legs.
That sounded terrible, but really, that's where it was.
It's that poop again!!
He called the shit poop!!! Don't put it out with your boots Taddd!!!!
So, apparently I stepped in horse or dog poo and wiped it all over my mom's car seat. Don't tell her. What??? She's reading this??? Awww crap. Sorry mom, I cleaned it, I swear.
:) :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteYou probably aren't even checking this anymore since it's from forever ago. But - what is the rest of the Latin America song?!! I get it stuck in my head from 35 years ago and I can't figure it out! I googled about it and this is the ONLY place I can find it mentioned!
