Goodbye Manhood.

Justin, Finn, and I started our day bright and early with….

Wait for it!!!

Nooo!!!

Manhood chopping!!! Team No Balls!

Go go go, no balls!!!

Listen up peeps, as of today, Finley is no longer the most eligible baby daddy on the block.

Please, please, let the bitches down easy.

This was him on the way to Animal Coalition.
Awww, poor guy, he has no idea what's coming :(

Is spent the rest of the day at work talking to people, trying to keep up with CA-RAZY sales in the store, and worrying about my baby.

Justin's in St. Pete at a soccer tournament this weekend, so I left work early to pick him up at 5PM.

I HIGHLY recommend the Tampa Animal Coalition. I had two people recommend it to me before, and I can see why. Everything was quick and easy, the people were great with animals, and they were great about answering questions and going into detail about how we should care for him the next few days.

The first step in care tends to be pretty, well……

Let's be honest.

Humiliating.

'Ay! You tawkin' bout me?!

Poor

Poor

Poor

Finley.

Loved this card!

"I HATE these cones! Could there be anything more humiliating?!"

So cute.

Since the surgery, he has been mostly tired and a little bit drunk…

After an exhausting day at work, all we're in the mood to do tonight is eat Chipotle, phone date with my friend Stuart, watch sappy daytime TV on DVR (ie SYTTD and HHI and if you can name those abbrev's let's be best friends!), read People mag, and try to lick our balls.

That last one is mostly him. Mostly.

Righttttt…..

Last night was spent saying goodbye to a co-worker of Justin's! She's moving to Texas, so we braved the rain to celebrate at Bar Louie and Blu Martini!

I just kept it to two glasses of delicious Riesling since I had to be at the appointment then work bright and early!!!

That's me smelling my wine to ensure I only consume the highest quality grape.

What?

No, it's me, I just died my hair dark…

Alright, so it's not me, but I do have one shot of us that made it out alive from last night!

Love Allie's head shelf.

Weird to think that it will be J and I saying goodbye to our friends soon :(

It's always hard to know if I'm making the right decision after I hang out with these guys. We have been so lucky to have found such wonderful people in Florida, and I will miss them sooo much! I just have to keep telling myself, family comes first!

Before we went out, I scarfed down a sweet potater, some steamed broccoli, and leftover turkey meatballs, but with ketchup this time. I like my meatballs fancy.

I have said balls way to many times in this post.

And I'm gonna go ahead and end on that note.

21.6.12

Hoe Brown.

The past week has been perfect!!!

Except for this…

(feel free to ignore the humidity ridden rat's nest called my hair)
These guys seem to be popping up all over our house, and even this one on my car!!! ugh, I will not miss all the creepy crawlers in Florida. I'll take daddy long legs and lightning bugs over palmettos any day!! :)

Speaking of weird things on cars… Finley and I ran past this one day this week.
Safe cracker. Maybe you're more "mature" than I am but, I read it as… "Man! That white guy is very cautious. Aka- he is one safe cracker!!!"

No? No one else thought of that first??? Right… I didn't either…just sayin', you know what it would be like if I did….No?

Ok, I'm done.

Oh wait, no I'm not. I have one more running find that I seriously can't hold in any longer.

Hopefully this one will be funny to you to:

That's right. Vote Hoe Brown- GOP. Pro-Gun.

Might as well say Vote for the white, southern, racist hunter next door. Will do Mr. Brown!!

Oh no no, please, call me Hoe.
:)

Copy that, Hoe.

Anyways, in other news…

I had last weekend off of work, so Justin and I celebrated by spending Friday night with a Princess.

Which one you ask?

Belle?

Nope.

Cinderella?

Nope.

Anastasia?

Definitely not. (who wants to have dinner with a B-list princess???)

Here she is:

Yep. The Starlite Princess.

Not what you were expecting??

Well, it's the only other princess I'll let Justin ride freely.
Awkward, sorry.

Dinner began with life chats and a salad!

Appetizer of spinach artichoke dip and a sunset.
They go really well together if you were wondering.

Here's the ship! It was slightly 80's but in a charming way.

My dinner was equally charming.
I ordered parmesan crusted mahi mahi topped with remoulade and extra veggies!

Balanced out by cheesecake obviously.

Some rando and I out on the deck after dinner! Kidding, that's the same guy I hang out with everyday! He's kind of cool I guess.

Saturday came with even more fun! Guess who came to see me!!!!!?????

The hottie-boom-ba-lottie in the middle!

Woop woop!

Lauren, Justin, and I started the night at Gaspar's Grotto for dinner and dranks! Everyone loves girls night. Especially Justin.

This is the outside bar at the grotto, I LOVE this place! Mostly because you can play corn hole, but who's counting.

We then headed back to the house to continue the debauchery.

Shots chased with chips! We used to do this in college all the time. Ya, we're cheap. But, it works. Seriously.

Do it.

We then headed to the new hottest club in TPA.

What what?!?

It's called the patio, and it was hoppin. Let me tell you wHHHat!!!

Needless to say, the next morning and half the day was spent like this.

Justin in the fetal position snuggling Finley's ass.

What a sissy. Guess he can't handle partyin' anymore.

I'm totally kidding, I was the one out of commission.

However, we DID manage to roll out of bed to eat. If anything get me out of a hangover bed rest, it's greasy breakfast food.

So, we headed to yet another awesome restaurant in Tampa called Pinky's which is right down the street from our house!

We started off walking, got about a block from our house, then decided we were too lazy and walked back only to drive to the restaurant.

Insert shameful comments here.

Pinky's was hoppin!

Love that we just got to sign ourselves in on a…..

Pair of mannequin legs???

I'll take it.
Such eclectic carfee mugs! I loved it.

Then, they had little quotes on the walls as well.

It was about a 20 minute wait, but between the dark carmel coffee and all the stuff to look at, it went fast!

Lauren and I split a Mexican frittata and a breakfast wrap!
Sooo cheesy and delicious!

The work week consisted of typical days, except Wednesday was my graduation from Business College!

Really, I've been done with my training for months now, but they saved a graduation until 3 classes of new execs could celebrate all together.

It was great, we got to have a chat session with the group HR exec. and all of the group leaders including merchandising, operations, pharmacy, etc.

Plus some goodies!

Love it.

Official degree!

It was great to hear their input on career paths, the future of Target, and advice they would have taken looking back!

The rest of the week, I have been helping my trainer training a new executive which has been a great learning experience for me! Other than that, I've spent a lot of time this week working out moving details, picking out paint colors (I may or may not have a "cranberry splash" dining room! :), running with finley, cycling, and cooking!

Guess I tired him out :) Look at him holdin' onto his baby, so precious.

Adventures in cooking!

Chicken sausage, veggie pasta, and red and green peppers!

Frozen yogurt, berries, PB2!

Asian turkey meatballs, red quinoa, and veggies in teriyaki!

Nectarine and blueberries in chocolate frozen yogurt!

ADDICTED to chocolate frozen yogurt and fruit right now! It's the perfect summer dessert!

Speaking of perfect…

Look how cute.

An even better one. They love each other.

Ok, seriously guys?? That's enough.

We tend to spend our weeknights entertained by Finley.

Today was spent running around like a madman! Making appointments/gathering records to have Finley's manhood chopped before the move, cycling, cooking, fixing my computer at the genius bar!

It's a happenin' place…

We also went on two long walks and spent some time eating mango on the porch and people watching! :)

This evening, we headed to a block pawty in Hyde Park!

It was at Downtown Dogs, a cute little store that has everything you could ever need for your dog.

And even some for them to play with!
Finley in action!

See that white blur running circles around the Newfoundland?? Yeah, he's mine.

Guess all the action today wore us out.

Time to go ni-ni!!!
