The aftermath.
Sigh.
Was way not as much fun (I just typed fun and my phone corrected it to gin... Which might be more appropriate) as the party.
Let us start w the party though! It was such a great way to break in our new house! We actually spent the majority of the day cleaning the house (insert gasp here), running errands, and making food and drank for our peeps.
We had a shimple shpread of spinach artichoke dip w chips, peanuts with candy corn (yay fall!), veggie tray, cheese crackers and roni, and meatballs.
While it was an intimate group of people, we certainly took advantage and got after it like it was a college frat party. Complete with puking just from the pregame (yeah Bre! Hahah!), making out on the dance floor (oopsies), and too many rounds of group shots prepared by bartender Adams himself :) and not to forget the college classic of eating disgusting amounts of cheese pizza dipped in more cheese at 3am. Yikes.
Needless to say, whne we finally dragged ourselves our of bed the next day, we were grateful for friends that had already cleaned our house back up. Seriously. A not so tiny miracle.
Grateful for that, and bacon. We headed to Good Morning Mama's for mixh needed nourishment. From which Justin had to excuse himself to go home bc he felt sick. I remember my first beer. #freshman

Only the best.

After breakfast, we pulled ourselves up by our bootstraps and got our lives together. And by that I mean, we laid comatose on the couch until we felt so pathetic and guilty we had to move.
I got moving by taking Finley for a run…
The Monon was a happenin' on Sunday!
Don't judge my slowness…
We actually did things in between the miles! I followed the Carrots n' Cake 99 Workout…
After I got some of the toxins out, I had enough gusto to make dinner!
Stuffed peppers and spaghetti squash with ricotta and fat free cream cheese!

The rest of the night was spent back on the couch and being complete losers, watching 60 minutes and football (and by watching I mean laying there, drooling).
Even Finley was down for the count.
Couldn't wait to be fully recovered!
Ended the night with a little pre-birthday treat!
