Daaa pears, da pears, da pears….

This morning was brisk to say the least

I woke up freezing! Good thing I had my little guy to keep me warm! Outside was 39 and my house was 62! Still only 45 at 9:30!!

Not happy about it.

Needless to say, I made Sunday pancakes with a scarf and Uggs (Sh*t sorority girls say) on and flipped on the heat as soon as I got downstairs. Yikes.

 Heatin' things up!

'Cakes with pears!

Daaaaaa pears da pears da pears.

My morning consisted of the pancakes pancakes, a hot mug of pumpkin spice coffee, the today show, a phone chat with Stuart, and a long walk with fin.

I think Finley saw a squirrel.

Squirrel squirrel squirrel.

By the way, go ahead and search "Squirrel Dog" if you want some true Sunday entertainment.

Just one of many gems found...

Once I was nice and warmed up, and filled back up with a few figs

First time eating just figs by themselves!

I headed out to BodyCombat and CX works which both kicked my butt!! Our Pacers photo shoot is next weekend, so I'm trying to kick my fitness to the next level to be in top shape!

Lets catch up on last night while were recapping!

After the appearance, I headed out to Trader Joe's (for the first time!!! They have already cut up butternut squash!!!! In love!!) and teerget of course! I was in need of a plunger desperately since  I Justin clogged the toilet miserably.

I then had a few friends over for a quick champagne celebration for a life milestone of theirs, then headed to our friends Josh and merediths with kara and Myles for Josh's b-day cookout! Of course Martha Meredith made quite the spread! We had chicken from the grill, salad, asparagus, some kind of jalapeño cornbread, stuffed mushrooms, and potatoes!

Kara and I ended up forgoing (forwent??? :) the casino after party because we had a hungry baby on our hands!

I helped out as much as I could, then left them to hopefully tackle a good nights sleep (kara thinks shes finally got the perfect recipe to help him (and her) sleep 6 hrs! Then headed to my mom and dads for some quality time.

With Katy perry that is. My mom and I were both more than thrilled that we BOTH were nerdy enough to want to watch her documentary movie, Part of Me.

Yyyyeeeeessssss...

It was seriously so good. I'm not kidding. I cried. That girl is incredible. And adorable. And I love her. Watch it, you won't regret it.

Teen Beat 4ever. Sorry I'm not sorry.

Back to Sunday…after the workout, I had a quick shower, made my favorite Butternut Squash and Kale soup

and had a phone date with my friend Laura!

Anyway..... The rest of our Sunday was filled with many things…

Presents!!!

My friend Sophi's birthday present arrived in the mail today! A beautiful teal necklace made by one of her friends! How cool.

Along with the coolest homemade/literary inspired packaging and card ever...

Back of envelope..

Front of envelope.. "If peeing your pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis! That damn sasquatch"...Hilarious…

Love the Roman Numeral explanations at the bottom

A letter from me when we were little…

I LOVED it Sophi! Thank you SO much!

Fooseball…

Pups in pajamas…

Doesn't it look like she's wearing pj's with the butt flap??

Exhibit A. I love this picture for so many reasons. Don't even get me started.

Poor Lola got her tail removed last week and they had to shave around her stitches..

Salads and pizza….

Strawberry chicken salad...

A little Richard Gere…

Disheartening movie with a bizarre ending…but hey, I'll sit through many things for two hours if Dick is with me.

And a reunion with Justin! He's been gone all weekend at the St. Francis Homecoming! It's so good to have him home again!
